We explore, acquire, extract, and deliver new hydrocarbon resources to provide a pipeline of supplies that help sustain long-term production. Our core activities include block promotion, block acquisitions, basin evaluations, play generation, prospect maturation and exploration drilling. With our Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) efforts, we have explored the world’s challenging terrains to secure new reserves, ventured into deepwater exploration, and entered highly complex High Pressure Temperature (HPHT) reservoirs and wells with high CO₂ content. Our EOR efforts boost yields as well as maximise recovery from discovered fields as we pursue value-driven growth across focused geographies and high potential oil basins while growing our portfolio and high-value resources. We also oversee exploration activities in Turkey and seek out exploration investments via Turkey Petroleum Management (TPM), the country’s regulatory body for the upstream sector. Through MPM, we promote sustainable and orderly development of our petroleum resources via Petroleum Arrangement Contracts (PACs) within the country — including the Turkey-Thailand Joint Development Area — and abroad.
